Steam error: Failed to contact key server?

So I have a Mac but I run windows on it using VMware. On Windows I downloaded steam and bought Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition but every time I press play it comes up with the error: Failed to contact key server after momentarily saying "Requesting key – Product code"

What should I do to fix this error and play the game?
