Chaining Question (Pokemon Diamond)?

Asked: Chaining Question (Pokemon Diamond)?

Hey guys!

Quick question about chaining, if anyone is still doing it/is good at it.I've been working on it today, trying to catch a few random shiny pokemon for some fun, but seem to be running into a bit of trouble after the 30th chain fight.I'm following all the rules perfectly, and headed towards what should have been my 37th Buizel, it was 4 spaces to the right of me, no adjacent patches, repel was on, and it wasn't an edge bush, but to my dismay it was merely a lovely Bidoof. It's ALWAYS the Bidoof that messes it up…anyway, my question is what did I do wrong here, or is there some luck involved this late into a chain?Really bothered me considering it took me over an hour and a half to get to that point with how meticulous I was being about what patches I took to continue the chain, and which I just reset for.

Is it bad to have bouncy hair?

Feb 25, 2013   //   by Administrator   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Asked: Is it bad to have bouncy hair?

My hair's gotten long and everyone says that when I jog or run, my hair always bounces. Even sometimes when I walk! Is that a good or bad thing? P.S, I have thick, wavy hair.

Jogging/Running advice?

Jan 17, 2013   //   by Administrator   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Asked: Jogging/Running advice?

Hello,

I've been jogging recently to get in shape. I could do to lose a stone (post Christmas weight unfortunately). So just wanted to know:

- How much jogging should I do?
- When should I slow down? (or should I really push myself to keep going)
- Why does my throat burn after jogging?
- The best way to keep motivated? I get really bored jogging, even with my Ipod
- Should I jog and then pick up the pace in to a run?
- Best way to soothe that sharp pain in my rib cage?

Many thanks! x

Why did i have a mental break down after working out?

Dec 17, 2012   //   by Administrator   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Asked: Why did i have a mental break down after working out?

I already asked this question but no seemed to want to answer it icon sad Why did i have a mental break down after working out? maybe it was too long

What happened in chronological order:
EVERYTHING LEADING UP TO BREAK DOWN
1. started insanity (i've done it for 2 weeks got bored and quit i was planning on finishing this time about 5 times)
2. 10 minutes-back pain (thought it was my breast but it became unbearable by the end)
3.15 minutes-headache and slight shaking (thought it was my usual migraine and shaking meant i was working hard)
4. 20 minutes- shaking starting to be painful (i was thinking "im really unfit" though i swim everyday for competition)
Felt like vomiting

5. Finish 30 minutes
6. tried to talk but it was very hard due to breathing and shaking (i was thinking "great workout!" soooo much pain)
7. go up stairs
8. took a showeralmost threw up in shower (thinking it was a panic attack)
9. finished (shaking even more then before)
10. sat down on bed listened to music and read manga (usually also help with panic attacks)

WHEN THE MENTAL BREAK DOWN STARTED
11. my phone goes off (vibrating)
12. start frantically (never done before) searching for my phone
13. still unfound i start having something like a seizure on my bed but completely conscious
14. falls off the bed and started scooting away from the phone and bed like when a murderer is coming at you
15. kept scooting until i hit several things then finally hit the door
16. every time the phone went off (x5) i would freak out and hit my back on door again
17. it stopped going off 30 minutes i sat there slightly (small like i did mini jog) hyperventilating every time i heard a noise i would hit the door again
18. head ache, back ache gone still shaking (20 minutes later it went away)

This entire time i'm whimpering like an abused puppy

Physically:
5'6 160lbs (have a lot of muscle)
pretty fit never had problems doing insanity
ate pretty well or enough
drank 6 cups of water
asthma- use my inhaler today before any type of work out

Mental Condition:
history of depression- got over it started to workout
I do get panic attacks-unmedicated because my attacks never had hurt me they were are easily controlled

Why this was so different?
-Showers, music, reading manga always help make it easier to handle
-never moved when i have an attack always stay in one place
-PAIN
-felt like i was scared for real like some one was after me (most of the time it's random or just due to pressure)
-working out has always been a good escape never had a panic attack after working out
- i ALWAYS cry for no reason before i have a panic attack
-i didnt feel like screaming (good release when necessary is only when it's horrible)
- I DIDN'T HYPERVENTILATE????????????
- never wriggle or shake during or before panic attacks (sometimes i shake afterwards)

THE REAL QUESTIONS:
Was this a panic attack? it was too different from usual Why was it so different?
Should i be concerned?
Is this the time to go to a doctor or take meds?
Can your mind really create that much pain in my body?
Can anyone explain the vibrating/shaking?

Do you think I might have a anxiety disorder?

Nov 30, 2012   //   by Administrator   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Asked: Do you think I might have a anxiety disorder?

I know that Yahoo Answers is a not a psychiatrist or therapist, but for a few recent years I have had a lot of anxiety issues, that I have never really talked about.
Basically, I'm ALWAYS thinking about issues. ALWAYS. First of all, I'm scared to get on the school bus because I think that two boys who get on the bus will sit behind, in front of me etc. and be really mean. This never happens, and I'm either sitting on my own near my friends or with them.
Then I am always worry about going out to public places e.g going to the gym (which I really want to go to), and for a recent example, there is a Christmas fair thing in my local town, and I am scared that I will see people I know and they will whisper or just stare at me. I'm always cautious in social situations (not really around my close friends, just people I don't really know that well), and always try to avoid them if I can.
I come home from school sometimes and just worry about things that might of happened (maybe someone snapped at me), and will not stop thinking about it. Once, someone took something the wrong way, and said to me 'Oh thanks. Offended.', and I literately had a panic attack. My heart started beating really fast, and I felt dizzy. I cried and cried and cried till I fell asleep, worrying so much, and then once I saw them at school everything was fine!
I'm trying really hard to get a flat stomach, and it is working, but I feel to shy to go outside to do some exercise (like going for a jog), because I'm scared that I will bump in to someone who I know and not carsickness like. I'm also afraid people with be talking about me behind there backs, and once when I did find out someone called me AND my and friend weird (which isn't that bad), I burst in to tears. I just want to know if I should really properly talk about this issue to my mum, or maybe is it just going through teenager years? I just want to impress everyone and have friends around me.
To be honest, I could go on listing lots of things I have been nervous about, but there is no point. Please help me- if you have any ideas if it could be signs of any anxiety/personality disorders? Thanks icon smile Do you think I might have a anxiety disorder?

Sing and piano home recording equipment (cheap!)?

Oct 20, 2012   //   by Administrator   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Asked: Sing and piano home recording equipment (cheap!)?

Okay, so i fancy recording my own songs, putting on disks and giving them to my parents friends as they are ALWAYS asking, and just to see what it would be like to have a single/ album, maybe even get serious. Been looking at some home recording and the only thing (that's cheap) that i can find with its own programme is this… http://www.amazon.co.uk/Behringer-PODCASTUDIO-USB-Professional-Interface/dp/B000PARIZU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350748845&sr=8-1

nearly everyone's saying that its rubbish (probably because it's cheap) so just wondering if anyone knew any good all in one packages that are good and cheap (i know they are hard to find, i've been looking for months!) or a mic and then software that you download from a disc, not off the internet (with all these scams and viruses going around) don't want to spend more than 100? maybe 150 please help me! give me a link, advice, anything as long as its valid, no rubbish about "oh the music industry is hard, i don't think you'll make it" i DON'T want to make it big, i just want to record some decent sounding songs with proper equipment and then maybe get serious if i like doing it, i know people might think it's a wast of money but a 13 year old can dream can't she?

thank you if you do give the answer i'm looking for

jog on if you don't!
