Increased diastolic blood pressure during mild intensity exercise?

Asked: Increased diastolic blood pressure during mild intensity exercise?

Hi, I'm a 23 years old male, I'm concerned about my heart health. I recently often felt like when I'm resting at home, my heart beats really hard in the chest but NOT fast at all and same feeling tightness in the chest and hard heart beat when suddenly stand up from lying or sitting position.
My resting blood pressure is averagely around 118/70. I'm normally very lazy and never really exercise much, but I'm not overweight, BMI is very normal.

So I recently started exercising, mainly jogging on treadmill for 30 minutes, 10 minute warm up walking, 10 minute mild intensity jogging and 10 minute cooling down.
I tested my blood pressure during exercise and it seems quite abnormal, here is the timeline list:

117/68 – resting
125/75 – ready up to exercise
135/80 – warm up (started walking)
155/90 – started jogging
156/98 – peaking in intensity
116/82 – post exercise (5 minutes after)

I found my diastolic blood pressure raised quite a bit and I have done a lot of ECG, normally the ECG results only contains "incomplete right bundle branch block", doctors said it was normal.

Should I be concerned about the raised diastolic blood pressure? I heard it should stay the same when exercising, only systolic pressure will rise.

Thank you very much

Can I possibly have diabetes at 16?

Asked: Can I possibly have diabetes at 16?

I've been pigging out quite badly this weekend. Anyway, yesterday, I ate a lot of Chinese-style white steamed buns, and after that I felt SO tired I ended up falling asleep. This happened today as well. After eating some biscuits, I also fell asleep even though it was within hours of waking up. Just now, I ate something sugary and I'm feeling quite lethargic. I've never felt so badly before in regards to sugar and carbohydrates.

Not to mention that my BMI is 19-20.

Diabetes runs in my mom's side of the family.

But I'm only 16! Could this just be a bad sugar crash?

Help me lose 60 pounds in approx. 3 months?

Apr 3, 2013   //   by Administrator   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Asked: Help me lose 60 pounds in approx. 3 months?

I'm trying to get to a healthy bmi before I go to Warped Tour in June. Right now I am 15 around 5'5" and weigh 180 to 185, technically obese. The highest weight for a healthy BMI is about 144, so maybe I could at least loose 45 pounds if 60 isn't do able. For the past 5 days, I've been walking, jogging, and running a lot. Saturday, I walked miles and miles around during an outdoor concert. Sunday, I jogged around 2.376 miles. On Monday, I jogged 2.503 miles. On Tuesday, I jogged 2.500 miles. Today I didn't jog, but I plan on working out more intense tomorrow. These past few days I've been gradually cutting out bad foods. Can someone help me out and give me some pointers? And what if I were to replace some meals in my day with protein shakes instead? I would like to try anything to get rid of this weight that I've been carrying for years. I'm already noticing changes in my appitite during lunch at school, but I try to eat so ill have energy to jog after school. I'm tired of being fat and chubby and being the loner. I want this year to be the year I change my lifestyle. Please help me out! Thanks!
