I live in Canada. I am 16, boy friends a little older than i. We wanna move to mexico in the near future. In my mid to late 20's after finishing schooling. He is starting a nursing course in the fall. I have some questions. Will I be able to apply for a visa and be able to work? We make about a 3000-3500$ income monthly.
-Can i work and live?
-Will his nursing degree help, will it do ANYTHING or a waste of time and money?
-My aunt lives in Mexico. She runs a buisness in canada but lives in Mexico, will that help?

Asked: Is my treadmill in KM or MILES?

I bought the machine in Canada but it is probably an American brand? (not sure)
but the running speed shows in mph.

I can jog for 30 minutes STRAIGHT, nonstop and burn about 500 calories. and the distance shown is 2.8

For 60 minutes i burn 1 000 cal. distance is 5.45

is that in miles or km???

My car was parked in a parking lot when a truck tried to park beside me, and smashed up the side of my vehicle. He still parked in that lot, so technically it's not a hit & run. We are in B.C., Canada but the truck who hit me is from Washington. This happened in November, and after a very long time of trying to track this guy down (it was caught on camera) we found him, and spoke to him, and he agreed to pay out of his pocket instead of going through insurance. After we gave him an estimate, he tells us that he can't afford it and wants to work out a payment plan.

A few things you need to know as well:
-I only have basic insurance, which does not include collision coverage. (which is why I had to track down the guy by myself, since my insurance company can't help me at all.)
-He says that in the States, you have 15 days to file a claim, and obviously he didn't do that.
-He works in the military but he told us he only makes $22,000 per year. (really? the U.S. military pays poorly?)
-He sold the truck right after the accident.

I mean, it's not my problem that he can't afford it, (it's about $2,400) but what do I do? He owes me money, insurance won't help me, what can I do to resolve this? With his estimated "payment plan" it's going to take 2 years for him to pay us.

I need alot of help since i know absolutely nothing about moving. I live in canada and want to move to San Diego. I am a girl, not exactly outgoing, but i love surfing, swimmig, beaches and san diego seems to fit the lifestyle i want perfectly. Ive been there once, bit that was a long time ago and we only went to la jolla beach and downtown. Im looking for a clean, more modern area with a population inbetween a small town and big city, like 8,000 to 14,000. Maybey a 30 minute walk or jog to the beach, with low crime and nice beaches. I know its a lot to ask for, but i also know nothing about getting an american passport or citizen ship and visa, or jobs, houses ect. I would really appreciate it if you could give some info about that too
